Access to reliable wifi can be a major issue for many communities and school districts, and that\u2019s why we designed our iOS assessment application to store information without a WiFi connection.<\/p>\n
In order to login to the assessment app and perform your surveys, you must first be connected to Wi-Fi. Once you\u2019ve connected to Wi-Fi and logged in to the assessment app, you are free to perform surveys in and outside of a Wi-Fi zone.<\/p>\n
Each survey completed without a WiFi connection will be stored locally on the device until a connection is re-established. Once a WiFi connection is available, the device will push the data up to the Sprig servers and store your information securely online.<\/p>\n
For example, if your school does not have Wi-Fi you can login to the assessment app in a Wi-Fi zone and then leave the area to deliver the assessments.<\/p>\n
There is no limit to the number of assessments that can be conducted outside of a Wi-Fi zone and survey data will upload once you\u2019ve reconnected to Wi-Fi.<\/p>\n
How will I know if data has successfully updated?<\/strong><\/p>\n Assessment data is removed from the iPad when the data has successfully uploaded to the database.<\/p>\n
